Metonymy was born out of a casual conversation on a cold November morning in 2022. We were on a short holiday trip to Daman, near Silvassa in Gujarat, India. Dilip had long been interested in pursuing his entrepreneurial instinct. His proposal of setting up an IT Startup found approval from the senior Nair's.
Metonymy's vision is to leverage the potential of digital tech and build products capable of improving human life. One of the ways of doing this is to identify the daily chores that humans encounter, in general, with no bias to the environment - be it urban or rural. If digital can address the chores, then we may have eased the wails and woes of the common man! Consequently, Metonymy may have helped improve human life to some extent, however miniscule it may be!
Perhaps business organisations encounter the same woes that any individual may encounter in his / her daily life. No matter how big or small, local or global, business organisations, regardless of their size and scale need optimal digital interventions and technology enablement to build a sustainable operating model. And this is where Metonymy would like to bring our expertise to the table. We look forward to being your trusted partner in transforming your business. Give us the opportunity!
